The year of our first TUB (Thyagaraja Utsavam Belgium) – first of its kind in Belgium and mainland Europe – recreating the Thiruvaiyaaru, Tanjavur milieu.
To top it, the visit of the exemplary violin siblings , Dr. GJR Krishnan and Dr. GJR Vijayalakshmi, of the Lalgudi Jayaraman family, who are from the lineage of the most revered Saint Thyagaraja himself. What more could we ask !
And we found excellent artists and warm collaborators in our own globally-local Sooraj Subramaniam, Aparna Srinivasan, Sandeep Sangameswaran and Harini Jayasankar.
